WE ARE CALLED TO WORSHIP & GLORIFY GOD

Worship is a deep expression of the affection, gratitude, adoration, reverence, awe and wonder we have toward the Living God.  It’s an inner cherishing of our loving Savior through an outward expression of faith, giving Him the highest honor and praise for who He is, for all He’s done for us, and continues to do in our lives.  Our worship and affections for the Lord can be expressed in many different ways, but one of the most powerful ways we worship is through music and song, especially when we gather together with one faith-filled voice unto Him.  Worship is often a beautiful dichotomy.  While offering up a sacrifice of praise to our Heavenly Father, proclaiming His great promises, declaring who He is and who we are in Christ, we can simultaneously be refreshed and renewed in Him in His presence. He deserves all glory, all honor, all praise, for He is worthy. What a joy it is to worship our King.

“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some…” (Hebrews 10:23-24).

“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.… to give drink to my people, my chosen, the people I formed for myself that they may proclaim my praise” (Isaiah 43:19-21).
