Meet Our Pastor

Rev. Arthur Andrews

Arthur Andrews serves as the pastor of Hephatha Lutheran Church and School in Anaheim, California, and his life is true evidence of the redeeming power of God’s grace. A devoted husband, father of two, and follower of Jesus, Arthur seeks to point others to God’s goodness through both his ministry and his story.

Born into hardship and shaped by resilience, mentors, and the healing love of Christ, he brings a compassionate, grounded perspective to his work.With academic training in theology, philosophy, and Marriage and Family Therapy, he teaches as an adjunct professor at Concordia University Irvine and speaks in a variety of settings, yet his greatest preparation for ministry comes from carrying his own cross through life’s trials and challenges (OR… comes from the trials and transformation of his own walk with the Lord).

Whether hiking, kayaking, reading over coffee, or spending time with family and friends, Arthur finds joy in the everyday gifts of God and lives out the truth that a Gospel-centered life is rooted not in having all the answers, but in trusting the Savior who graciously loves His children.
