Hephatha Lutheran Church

People Matter

At Hephatha, people truly matter—because every person is someone for whom Christ died. Whether you’re brand‑new to Christianity or you’ve been in the pews your whole life, you are welcome here. You don’t need to have all the answers. You don’t need to “clean yourself up” first. You don’t need to know the Bible inside and out.

This is a place for real people with real stories, real questions, and real hopes. We believe Jesus meets us right where we are, and His love makes a genuine difference in our lives and in our community.

Come and see. You’ll find acceptance, friendship, and a family of believers who will walk with you in the love of Christ.

Hephatha Lutheran Church - Be Opened

At Hephatha, we are a Confessional Lutheran Church.

Our Community

To be a Christian is to belong—to Christ and to His people. In Holy Baptism, God gathers us into His family, joining us to believers across generations and around the world. This is His design: that faith is lived out in community, not in isolation.

In the Church, we rejoice together and we weep together. We confess our need for Jesus and receive His forgiveness. We learn, grow, and are strengthened by God’s Word and Sacraments. We bear one another’s burdens, celebrate one another’s joys, and walk together in the hope Christ gives.

Being part of the Church isn’t simply “going to church.” It’s being the Church—God’s redeemed people, called to live out His grace in everyday life. And the truth is simple: the Church is not complete without you.

At Hephatha, we gather regularly to worship the Triune God, to receive His gifts, to hear faithful teaching from Scripture, and to encourage one another in Christ-centered friendships. We are a community shaped by grace, anchored in the Lutheran Confessions, and united in the Gospel that saves.
