Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten Information

International Students:  Click Here

Transitional Kindergarten (TK) is for children who are born between Sept. 2nd and Dec. 31st, 2012, or children with a July or August birthday, who are recommended for an additional year of Early Childhood Education, which is consistent with California public schools.  For more information about the “Road to Kindergarten”, click here!

Kindergarten is open to students who are five years of age by Sept. 1st, 2017, which is consistent with California public schools.

Kindergarten for the 2017-2018 academic year at Hephatha is currently full; however, it is not too late to get on our wait list!  To be placed on the wait list, simply turn in your Registration Form with the registration payment of $425, and we will hold your payment until such time that a spot becomes available.  If a spot does not become available by the beginning of the 17-18 academic year (Wednesday, August 23rd, 2017), we will contact you to see if you would like to remain on the wait list.

If you are struggling to make a decision between Transitional Kindergarten vs Kindergarten…

Struggle no more.:)  We understand the TK vs Kindergarten conundrum that comes with summer and fall birthdays, so we like to schedule an information night for parents and their prospective students each year called, “Kindergarten Roundup!” to help with this decision.

You’ve missed this year’s “Roundup”, which was held in January; however, you are always welcome to call to set up a time to meet with the TK – Kindergarten teacher teams and Administrative Staff for an assessment.  Please do not hesitate to call us!

If you have any questions or concerns, contact the Admissions Director,
