The students of Hephatha Lutheran are part of a generational group of students known as 21st Century Learners. Education today has reached a point where it is no longer sufficient to have students visiting the school computer lab several times a week. The large amount of electronic resources available to students today provides a tremendous opportunity for cognitive growth. Here at Hephatha, we value the academic opportunities provided with making technology available to our students throughout the school day.

We find great significance in training our students, through academics, to efficiently and safely use computing devices and the internet. After meticulous review of technology platforms, academic growth through technology, and several other factors, Hephatha Lutheran has decided to expand its technology plan from Middle School to 4th grade.  In the Fall of 2014, Hephatha has introduced and new program that places Chromebooks with each student in grades 4 and 5.  Adaptations to our technology program will be made periodically to aid in our students’ academic growth.
