Hephatha is blessed to have Mrs. Lisa Rudi as our Director of Instrumental Music, and Mrs. Stefanie Deming as our Director of Vocal Music
. Mrs. Rudi and Mrs. Deming get the students excited about music!  Twice a week, students are instructed in music composition and exposed to music, instruments, etc. Instrumental and Vocal Music are wonderful components of our K-8th grade curriculum.

Chapel Praise Band – Mr. Cooper:

This is a Fine Arts elective available to 5th-8th grade on Tuesdays during school, and is therefore included in your tuition.

Chapel Band is during Fine Arts every Tuesday, 11:30-12:20. Chapel Band Schedule  Worship Songs
**Chapel Tech is not a Fine Arts elective;

Choir – Mrs. Deming:

Advanced Choir (5th-8th) is on Tuesdays during Fine Arts, 11:20am – 12:20pm.  Fine Arts electives are available to 5th-8th grade on Tuesdays during school, and are therefore included in their tuition.  Our middle school students walk in a group down to Fellowship Hall for this class.  To register for this class, your student(s) will mark “Choir” as their elective choice in class.

Beginning Choir (2nd-4th) is on Wednesdays, from 2:30pm to 3:15pm.  Students will meet Mrs. Deming in the breezeway at 2:25; she will then walk them down to the Fellowship Hall.  Students may be picked up by their parents in the Fellowship Hall at 3:15.  Any students who are still with Mrs. Deming at 3:15 will be walked back to the SAC Room, where she must begin her afternoon duties. A link to the registration form for Beginning Choir is below.  Students will need to bring a labeled flash drive for their songs/tracks in order to practice them at home.  Mrs. Deming will provide your student with the syllabus.
