Two amazing ladies retired from Hephatha this year. The following pictures are from Mrs. Rudi’s Goodbye Party at Our Annual
Concert on the Green this past May. Many of the students pictured are Alumni Musicians of the Year. From L to R:
Lindsay Lofink, Class of ’15; Miranda Sparkman, Class of ’15; Emily Moore, Class of ’13 (first student to complete Hephatha’s entire Strings Program); Eleena Abdishoo, Class of ’13 and Thomas Siets, Class of ’10.
The next group of pictures is from Mrs. Voelker’s End of Career Celebration at Our June 3rd Church Service.
In the June 2016 edition of the “Hephatha Happenings”, the Voelker’s said the following:
Dear Hephatha Family,
It is with heartfelt gratitude that I am writing to thank you for the wonderful Service, reception, and gifts. It was a blessing to share this unique moment with my children and their families; to see both old and new friends who came to wish us God’s blessings on this new part of our life journey. I know that many people do not get a chance to look back on their Ministry to see the blessings that God has given them, or to see how God has used them to impact another person. This moment in time was that for me: a time to hear from former faculty members, friends, alumni, and current Hephatha families, notes of memories and best wishes. Know that this place and this time will always hold a special place in our lives. We will miss our Hephatha family, the wonderful times of watching our students learning, growing and playing, the great family events like Concert on the Green or the Color Run and the wonderful times when you are on the school yard and it feels like you are hanging out at a great family park. Hephatha is blessed and our family has been blessed by being a part of a special group of God’s people.
In His Service, Charles & KJ Voelker
